After the payment settles
Once the transaction is confirmed on the chosen network, the supplier releases the order for shipment. A laboratory should retain the transaction reference with its order record so the payment can be reconciled with the receipt and lot documentation later.
What crypto does not change
Crypto payment does not exempt the laboratory from confirming lawful import in its jurisdiction, does not change the research-use-only labeling, and does not substitute for the certificate of analysis. A laboratory still reviews the CoA and ties the lot to its records.
